Privacy policy

SRD Innovations (“we”) provides the New Dilan Rice Products Windows desktop application used by the mill to keep operational records. This policy explains what the app stores, when Google is used for backup, and how Google user data is handled. This public website itself does not collect mill records or Google account data.

Data on the mill PC

Party names, phone numbers, weights, sales, payments, stock, and related mill records are stored in a local database on the mill computer. That data is not sent to SRD Innovations. People with access to the mill PC can see those records.

Google account and Drive backup

Google sign-in is optional. If someone at the mill chooses Sign in with Google, the app requests:

• the Google account email (userinfo.email), so Settings can show which account is connected
• permission to create and manage files this app creates in Google Drive (drive.file) — the “New Dilan Rice Products Backups” folder

The app uses that access only to upload, list, download, and restore mill database backup files. It does not read unrelated Drive files, scan the rest of Drive, send marketing mail, or sell mill data. OAuth tokens stay on the mill PC. Backup files live in the mill's Google Drive account; anyone with access to that Google account can see them.

Limited use of Google user data

New Dilan Rice Products's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide and improve the mill-facing backup feature. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with third parties except as needed to operate Google Drive itself.

Retention, disconnect, and deletion

Disconnect Google Drive in the app's Settings to stop backups and remove local OAuth tokens from that mill PC. Revoke access at any time in Google Account permissions. Backup files already in Drive remain there until someone with that Google account deletes them. Local mill records remain on the mill PC until the mill deletes them.
